Directly or indirectly the tax will be levied. It is part of the pay back for the lifestyle we have been able to lead. I accept it but it seems unfair that our children and grandchildren will continue to carry the burden we have given them.

Yeah. And if I can afford it, I'll live my polluting lifestyle and suffer the delusion that if I pay the U.N. or some "offset" broker some cash, it will make it right again.

Hillman, senior fellow emeritus at the Policy Studies Institute, says carbon rationing is the only way to ensure that the world avoids the worst effects of climate change.
