And if they get into preventive medicine instead of evasive medicine. We could all benefit from that. Except for the drug companies and the cut Doctors.

Neither the encouragement of preventive health care and healthful life styles nor improvements in occupational and environmental health would automatically follow from the institution of a national health insurance program. However, people would have access to primary care physicians for regular check ups and preventative screenings. Early detection of cancer and heart disease means a better prognosis for the patient and less cost to society. Finally, we're a fast food nation, we over eat and we eat too much of what is not good for us. While millions of Americans have embraced healthy life styles of regular exercise and wholesome foods, millions more have yet to find such discipline. Studies...
