That is so very sad... The tragedies of war....suffer the children You know, Right Hand made a comment on a comic strip clip a week or two ago and he was right. We Stink! America, used to be a great place and in our colorful history, we had never invaded a sovereign nation, with out a real need, and an invitation by the oppressed peoples of that nation. These poor people that suffer all these indignities, to include death, it's our responsibility! How are we to change the wold though- Personally, I apologize for this girls families plight, but we didn't vote George into office. He lost the Popular vote in 2004, he won the electoral college though. I promise this- I will be the first to sacrifice my life to bring real change to the world, and this countrie... Idealism, disrespect and hypocrisy, followed by knowledge. You ask too many good questions. Humans feel the need for a heaven on earth. America was that dream. Like tinsel town, the more you learn the more fake is the reality. The majority must believe in the 'American Dream' or else there is no purpose. The fundamentalists seek the end of the earth and their elevation into heaven. I would like my children to visit other nations and other cultures and share their view of the world with people from anywhere really- in peace, without fear, without nationalism playing a negative role in it. Sure it's an unrealistic even a childish pot smoking hippie view, but if there was a real chance to bring it about, wouldn't you die for it? I love my kids more than m... In closing, I would like to see Mr. Bush answer to a world court as Saddam did. A jury of soldiers parents, an audience of Iraqi mothers and survivors, and a judge from anywhere but here. I don't know- I just want to know how anyone can justify all the despair that has befallen the whole world over this lie. Over the manipulating the "sleeping sword of war" ( henry v) for personal gain. over this poor two year old girl and her mother. Over all the sons and daughters, and fathers and mothers that will never come home. I don't know, I'm no Saddam fan- right? In the ya-ya's with the bastard, no sleep lost here- and Osama? the same to him on TV, for the towers, but after that what- I sh... |
