The people turn a religion of love into a cause of HATE and this is an abomination to me.

The basis for this distortion of religion is based on their 'interpretation' of the Bible. In arriving at their supposed literal interpretation, they are aided by some from the Jewish faith. The fascist's ability to spread their hate is aided by this connection with a part of the Jewish media.

One day these hateful fascist will again turn their hate back on the Jews. The short sighted aid of the present will backfire hugely against the Jews. There is no hate more deadly than that between former allies.

In he meantime it is no bad thing that these fascists line up behind Huckabee rather than respectable Republicans. Having a fascist candidate ensures the hate-mongers of a receptacle for their venom and prevents them poisoning politics further.

I have no clue how he is winning republican voters unless there just are no real conservatives left in America. While Huckabee is socially conservative, in just about ever other way he is a liberal. He raised more taxes and spent more money in Arkansas than Bill Clinton did. He is, in my mind, probably the most dangerous candidate running (although Obama might be since he has an interesting religious background which he has chosen to run away from for the election).

Romney is the Republican Hillary Clinton - he's made himself the establishment candidate who everyone knows will say whatever he thinks you want to hear, but means none of it.

Giuliani is sleazy and involved in almost every corruption scandal he can get his hands on. And apparently, he only wants to be President of Florida.

McCain never played well in Iowa, and I'd say he's still in the game, but his integrity took a hit when he started pandering to the Bush administration.

Nobody takes Fred Thompson seriously, not even himself. His campaign is so sloppy and disorganized, I'd be surprised if he knows what job he's running for.

The others are wing nuts and fringe soap-box orators who emerge from their bunkers every 4 years to grab the national microphone for the 10 minutes that they can get to push their pet cause.

That leaves Huckabee. Utterly unable to win, but at least a guy who doesn't make you feel dirty.

If there is even one viable Republican candidate this year, then it's going to come as a very very big surprise.

Every party needs to collapse every now and then to rebuild itself, and Huckabee is just the kind of guy who happens to rise on the updraft from the implosion.

He isn't here to stay. He's just part of the fringe who shows up when the mainstream collapses.
