I joined FB and have my adult children as "friends". I try to observe boundaries and give them space. The thing that bothers me the most is when *kids* don't want their parents as FB friends because they can't be themselves they say. My question is "why not?" If you're ashamed for your parents to see what you say then maybe that's a good thing and it's time to stop being a hypocrite. Be yourself one way or the other.
