There are plenty of general rules that can be applied to countless horror films (especially slasher flicks). -you can see the killer but the victim can not
-a victim trips while being chased<BR /><DIV>

I think it'd be even better to make up several rules for specific horror films. I can't think up of anything clever just yet, although I'm sure I will by the time this thread gets going.
