I live in ireland there are two schools of thought on this
1 that its good to have a new road for people working in dublin to get to work without having to get up extremely early and travel long presumably bad roads
also that to look at the hill of tara it is just a big green mound
the other view is of the activists who say the historical aspect of how important its heritage is the have various internet campaigns http://www.campaigntosavetara.blogspot.com/

and a lot of them are pagan or suchlike from what I've
seen although this new discovery has raised more awareness generally through the media
