I could use some of that!

I've been on those two things for 13yrs and morphine sucks, while you think it may cure your pain,it's nothing more then a mask that eventually adds to the pain which you end up taking more ,now you have big troubles going to the bathroom ,now you need more pills for those side effects. Feb 13/08 I went of the morphine the best and hardest thing I had to do at 53 raising a now 11 yr old daughter,her mother died on Mother's day of 2008 from morphine uses. Stick to weed it saved me !

jt3600, I've been on morphine for about as long as you have and since I started taking it my daily dosage has doubled, with it I take tylenol with codiene, and prescription ibuprofen and I'm still not pain free. I wish there was just one thing I could take. Good for you getting off the morphine. All the best to you and your daughter.
