n2sooners says: With Congress pounding away at Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke for more transparency, and New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo threatening to release the names of the AIG bonus recipients -- an invasion of privacy that has no relevance to anything -- isn’t it time Congress let a little sun shine in? I like this idea. I can just picture it, Senators and Representatives wearing suits with their endorsement logos on them--ala Nascar! Where can we get a petition up to get this on the national ballot? So we can know who bought and paid for them, not who voted for them (we the people). |
