I think it's very disturbing to see these threats to democracy in Japan. In America we are growing accustom to the government using the paramilitary police to rule by fear. Japan has been above this since WW2, the police don't carry guns, and everything isn't locked up tight, they don't even have the surveillance that they have in london. They have no crime rate and I'm sad to hear they might be headed toward our fate.
