The remarks of two Birmingham women passersby when 20/20 has a lesbian couple sit on the bench are predictable. That’s below the fold.

When Leslie and Ashby sit, hold hands and snuggle, two local women volunteer their thoughts about the PDA:

“I just don’t want to see the same sex kissing.”

“It’s not what we say, it’s what God says. The chances of them going to heaven may not be very good if they continue this lifestyle.”

Am I surprised? No. There are definitely some places in my home state that I would NEVER do a public display of affection with another woman. However, I can easily do the same display of affection with my husband and that is what bothers me. It all comes down to what is acceptable to society. What a shame.

I look out my window and call 911 on straight couples sometimes when I see them necking. It's sickening!

Lord knows I hate it when they push their lifestyle choices in our faces. Why are they choosing that? Who wants children to grow up seeing heterosexuals holding hands and kissing???? OMG, these people are never gonna go to heaven

Well! I certainly knew better than to do any nasty making out in the hallways with girls in high school! I saved that for those cute cheerleaders after practice in the bottom of the gym dressing room. Thank you Mrs. Hall for going home early

OMG!! I got with the program and only made out with boys in those secluded hallways We used to have a teacher who had the habit of pulling the boys off of us and kicking them down the hallway. It was sooooooooo embarrasing. It made you wanna pick out a better corner and ask your best friend to be a look-out which btw, you would return the favor later on
