That's very interesting. I think back to my college days and when given the luxury of a cheat sheet I always wrote the information in small small square boxes instead of clear across the page from left to right. It is amazing how some notice what is right in front of our noses for both, scientific and monetary gain, while the rest of us are oblivious (insert witty sarcasm here). I also dropped a link in there to an awesome java speedreading applet that lets you stream words right in front of your eyes.
