As Obama frequently mentions -- it's not just Republicans dying in Iraq.

It's not just people from so-called "Red States," who are dying in Iraq.

The Republican claims to act like they are the only real Americans, the only patriots is just another one of their smear campaigns

Republicans have only waved the flag to cover up and distract from all their corruption, greed, and in fact violations of our Constitution and Civil Rights.

What's true about their false, cover-up patriotism is what Samuel Johnson said centuries ago: "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel."

Hey, I can relate being a tree hugging, city dwelling, gay, Puerto Rican, buddhist, woman.

True...FatCats and RedNecks are Republicans (and some people who are okay but just believe their lies about balanced budget, smaller government, lower the national debt -- all proved false certainly in these past Bush nightmare years)

Democrats have a bigger tent that lets more people fit in.

That's why, even though an Independent, vote a straight ticket for them every time.

If there was ever a third party, like in a parliamentary system where it wasn't winner-take-all rip off, that would be nice. Then all votes would lead to one's views getting a share of power and not just be stomped out because you only had a 49% victory.
