The Spark available next year in India, Europe, other GM markets

I was going to say that maybe the car could not pass US safety standards as it is destined for the India market, but selling it in Europe blows that reason for keeping the car out of the US.

GM doesn't want to sell anything for $6,000 in a market where they are asking $17,000 to $50,000.

Wonder how much it costs to ship?

I would think the market would be better in Europe because they mostly drive smaller vehicles there.

I wonder if that's a chicken-or-egg thing - we just haven't had the small-car options they've had. Of course, our cars wouldn't go down some of their roads, either!
