The only way to stop a war is to be victorious. Any way else, including the cowardly out you suggest, is to be defeated. You obviously do not understand what it means to be defeated. You don't just go on your merry way back to the utopic vision of good old America. The victors will come here and kill you.

In this global war on terror, we need to defeat the enemy. And that mean staying the course until they are annihilated or they surrender unconditionally.

If my son ends up giving his life for this country I will crow quite loudly about the freedoms he died to promote. My son is not going to go die in Iraq, he is going to help USA do what the people want him to do. If that is not the case then why are we even there?

One of my closest friends has two sons in the army. They have finished their second tours in Iraq. He is immensely proud of them. When I last dined with him and his wife, his two sons were still in Iraq, his prayers included, "... and Lord protect our soldiers and sailors in harm's way. Keep them safe and help them to perform their missions...." Sure caused a lump in my throat that made it difficult to say Amen. The essence of courage is not only within the fighting man and woman, but also in the hearts of the parents and family.

Since America's birth, our armed forces have sacrificed for our freedoms. The parents in 1775 had the same courage as the parents of today have.

Blackwater is a mercenary company, and if the U.S. had the resources it would not be needed. Do you want to share the battlefield with armed men that fight for money rather than God and Country?

As for numbers of kills, you might check the blackwater extensive YouTube collection of war porn. They do it, they film it and they celebrate it, and thanks to Paul Bremer, nobody can touch them.
