Very interesting. As someone who has gone through all the headaches of starting my own business, I'm just glad I didn't have to add worries about health care to the list.

Well I have the same problem & I do not live in the US, The insurance & taxes for the new & small business are higer than are for Corps.

Corporations tell governments what they will do. Small business has no muscle unless elected representatives act for them.
Elected reps don't seem to think they represent the electors but regard themselves as part of the party line.
So nothing is done for small business.
Privatising health insurance has made it more expensive, even though Bush promised that that wouldn't be the case.

True, good comment - there is this enormous myth out there that government involvement in healthcare will make it more expensive. Yet Americans pay more per capita than any other nation and get the 27th-best healthcare in the world. Will we ever learn?
