Probiotics are the "in" thing now. Eat yogurt labeled "contains live, active cultures"

Find out more about these bacteria because there are those food product companies out there that will take advantage of peoples ignorance on the subject. For instance can these live bacteria withstand cooking? No, therefore they will only be in foods that are such that one can add them after the cooking part is done. THat doesn't include granola bars as mentioned above. If, I'm wrong please educate me.

Everyone has bacteria in their digestive systems naturally, to assist in digestion, and for the manufacture certain vitamins. Sometimes antibiotics can destroy the natural bacteria while they attack an invader. I'm sure these bacteria don't stay away for too long because they're all around us Everyone has some, and they're easily passed from person to person, and through food. The big talk is of things like yoghurt, where it is fresh yoghurt, with a live bacterial strain, under refrigeration. I'm sure when they put 'youghurt' on some snack bars, it would be more likely youhurt flavouring.
The genuine products are more likely to give an explanation, than those just using the idea as a sales p...
