This is what Drudge and the Wash Post do not tell you about the Khan network:

2000-2001: Nuclear Proliferation Network Penetrates Pentagon with Help of Senior Officials

A nuclear proliferation network operating in the US penetrates the Pentagon and related institutions, according to FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds. The network, which is run by Pakistani scientist A. Q. Khan, but also includes Turkish and Israeli elements, is allegedly helped by a number of senior officials in the Pentagon. Edmonds will later say: “The [senior officials] provided lists of potential moles from Pentagon-related institutions who had access to databases concerning this information...One of the Pentagon figures that is a target of the FBI investigation is Larry Franklin, an analyst who will be jailed in 2006 for passing US defense information to lobbyists According to Edmonds, Franklin is “one of the top people providing information and packages during 2000 and 2001.”[/quo

The U.S. and Europeans knew that Pakistan was working to get nukes (just like Israel) and yet did nothing until it was too late. Of course if Pakistan goes to Hell in a hand basket, where do you think those nukes are going to end up? Say goodbye to New Delhi and Seattle for me.

Pakistan, the real nuclear threat.

Actually this is all about electronic blueprints (not so much hard weaponry), and it is the rogue elements, stemming from Khan, with ties to Turkey, U.S., and Israel through neocon elements in the Pentagon that could use a nuclear event to spark more wars (which would be the result) that is the problem. It is almost impossible to obtain weapons grade plutonium without "inside" sources (US, Israel, etc) which this research shows has been in operation and is the real danger.

Now look what happened to the evidence, the files referred to. The Swiss said they destroyed this evidence--why?

the files were secretly ordered destroyed by the government last year after pressure from the United States, which was concerned that its efforts to clamp down on nuclear smuggling might be compromised.
Note it was the US which urged the destruction of the evidence. This prevents the tracing, since they were electronic files, of the sources and paths, and precisely what was shared with others. This leaves only allegation, without hard evidence, and hides the...
