It is 2007 - and here we still are - fighting to legalize a drug that should have been legalized 100 years ago. Not that I am an avid pot smoker..b/c I am not. But I took a trip not so long ago to Anguilla and went to a place called Banky Banks. It is literally the most incredible place I have ever been. It is a bascially a house built in a tree. The place is SICK. It has a bar, live reggae music, and a lounge that overlooks the beach. Banky made it himself. It is very private. You can't go there and not smoke pot. Music Legends have played there...(actually the Stones played there right before we got there). Anyway sitting there you cant help but think how ridiculous it is that pot isnt legal. So my point in all this..is i think for all you people who think pot shouldnt be legal..take a trip to Anguilla, visit Banky Banks and then come back and tell me you disagree. Life there is great, NO CRIME, FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE. It is bascially legal even though its not. I know many people

sorry I ran out of room. Anyway I know people have VERY strong opinions about this but open your mind a little. Is it really so bad? Who hasn't smoked pot? Medical marijuana is a joke. Just Legalize it!

Ban alcohol -- people are violent & annoying when drunk, not so on marijuana.

Totally agree as well. What are the real reasons for it being illegal? Has to be something related to business/politics i would assume. Cigarettes legal, alcohol legal, marijuana illegal...makes no sense!

especially since it's the only one listed above that actually has medical benefits
