dmegivern says: Our Minnesota infrastructure, much like the rest of the states, is failing. It is time to invest in *public* goods and services again. Don't you know, silly rabbit, it's more important to build infrastructure in other countries than our own. It's more important to militarily spread "democracy" in other countries who have commodities we want than to ensure our own citizens have healthcare, food, jobs, housing and a real education. It's more important to make it horrifically difficult for our own citizens to survive, much less thrive. I'm not saying we should have our own iron curtain or ignore the plight of human beings in the rest of the world, but there are too many people in this country who are suffering. |
