merrie says: Why are we funding the U.N.'s "human rights" nonsense? When President Bush told the United Nations General Assembly this week "the American people are disappointed by the failures of the Human Rights Council," his words could not have been more timely or deserved. He pointed out "This body has been silent on repression by regimes from Havana to Caracas to Pyongyang and Tehran - while focusing its criticism excessively on Israel." On Friday, the Council piled the dung heap higher. It wrapped up another session in Geneva by adopting two more resolutions against Israel and no resolutions critical of the human-rights record of any of the other 191 U.N. member states. SHUSH, You ! ~ ~ Stop exposing the U.N. for what it is. I see this, then think of the comments I've seen regarding the U.N. around here, imagine those same, upon seeing this clip, with a tsk and sniff, move right along, withholding their "POPS" ~ their liberal sensibilities having been stirred, in self-righteous indignation over seeing a whiff of criticism of Syria as IAEA Cmtee.VP; ~ Iran as DisArmament Cmtee.VP; ~ N. Korea on Cmmsn. for Social Dvlpmnt. ....and the rest. See the # of views for this clip, then the # of POPS. When they didn't see that it was a bash on America, they quietly moved on. What goes on in the minds of these twistos? I'll pop this! !!!Priceless!!!!! Those who would be offended by critical commentary of that corrupt, impotent organization, should stay in their comfortable, little rut. I cannot understand why the State Department continues issuing visa's for Iran, Venezuela and the whole list of dirt-bags. I wish we'd cancel our membership and let the UN collapse. Its our idiot diplomats who let this crap happen. Unfortunately. They look so different from the "normal" boys. |
