Some of those look very comfortable. Just watch though, the price of those containers is going to go through the roof.

mc89, great clip, I have seen these containers being used for weekend retreats, sportsman cabins, farmers storage[ do not have to worry about mice or other vermin], and now dorms, how creative. I would like to excavate in the north facing slope of a hill, insulate with waterproof spray foam, place container in hill, backfill; what a wonderful root cellar, storm shelter, with a little elbow grease and materials a comfortable cool/warm retreat.

cabanaben, shame you don't have a south facing hill--instant inground home or earth sheltered home. O wait, that's for the northern hemisphere--are you in the southern hemishpere?
