Eaglewings says: This makes perfect sense. This bishop obviously disdains the bible because it teaches against the very lifestyle this bishop wants to embrace. It is no big surprise therefore that he would not deem it necessary to use it to offer up a prayer to whatever god he has decided to follow. Robinson offered these encouraging words when he said his prayer would be reflective of the times, "I think these are sober and difficult times that we are facing, therefore he won't be offering a happy clappy prayer. WHY PRAY AT ALL THEN IF YOU EXPECT THINGS TO ONLY GET WORSE? BEAM ME UP the world has gone mad! I think what he is doing is admirable and payers don't always have to happy clappy, they can be sincere and hopeful and from the heart. What do you find so admirable about this Bishop? PC at it's worst; butActually I did not find that objectionable because he could very well be a BISHOP of some church I just do not recognize him as a bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ. An organized religious order appoints many to leadership positions for political reasons and therefore they receive their earthly recognition but as far as any heavenly acknowledgment let us say naw don't think so.
