They had a terrible time. Said their lives changed drastically. Ya I too was thinking about that dorine, there was a clip here some time ago on the same matter. It can happen IF enough concerned citizens and owners of companies STOP selling out to China. America used to be one of the greatest manufacturing giants on the planet. Now we are the biggest consumers. Big mistake. Huge. Bring back manufacturing and jobs to America. I did. What's your excuse? MY excuse? I don't have one. I don't manufacture anything. I work with animals and do what I can to avoid them "manufacturing" any more. *LOL* When American companies can have a Guatomalian make something for 35 cents an hour. Or a Chinese political prisoner can make something for no pay, other then what the government takes so they can pay to imprison more free labor. Or the Eastern Indian children who work 12 hour days rolling insence sticks for pennies a day. And the list goes on and on. This country supports the oppression of other people. As long as we get it cheap, and the CEOs get their million dollar bonuses. Its business as usual. But it is already affecting the working class in this country. Who doesn't know someone who lost their job due to downsizing? Or outsourcing? How many have lost health benefits or have had their... |
