This is all the more frightening if you consider one of the lesser known facts about the prison system in America and how the Constitution of the United States applies to that system:

Amendment XIII

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The criminal justice system cannot substitute for PARENTING!
Children need nurturing, protection, and a set of values that will guide them as they mature.

Most importantly they need hope.

No. XIII of the Additional amendments to the United States Constitution (ratified on December 6, 1865) warrants the state organs of the U.S. of America to overlay the country with a Gulag Archipelago.
