These idiots don't realize the root of the problem is not supply, it's our own choke point in not being able to refine enough in this country. And it all can be laid at the feet of liberals who have prevented the construction of new refineries and new exploration offshore and in ANWR.

We need a Manhattan Project to develop a new energy source that will NOT be fed to internal combustion engines. We should send the internal combustion engine the way of the horse and buggy. We need some leadership in Washington to drive this (when was the last time we had real leadership there???).

As a physicist, I think we should focus on trying to identify and harness "dark energy", the most powerful force in the universe which is so strong it is causing entire galaxies to accelerate away from each other. It pervades all space and matter. Once we glom on to that, it's adios oil, and adios Arabs, and hello brave new world.
