Sorry. I'll clip some good news sometime.

One thing we should be doing now though is looking at 1) how to adapt to climate change and 2) engineered solutions to climate change.

Something a lot of people are mistaken about is what the melting will cause:
Most think of global warming-A Greenhouse Effect

Reall it will induce an IceAge. The cold fresh water will disturb the ocean climate engines. We're gunna freeze! Enjoy the warmth while you can and if you live in the north stock up on blankets and firewood!

I think the heart of the matter is the disturbance on ocean streams' courses. With more and more ice sheets melting and bringing fresh water to the oceans, the balance of salty and fresh water could dramatically change, which in turn lead to an irregularity on Gulf Stream. Then the rest of the story becomes a postmodern ice age tragedy.
