Stick a fork in him. Although I find his opinions distastefull, I am delighted that he isn't simply saying what he thinks will get him elected. I prefer politicians to be radical while campaigning but willing to compromise once elected. It is the duty of a candidate to give us a candid representation of their opinions, so that we know whether or not we should vote for them to represent us. As long as we have a right that clings to one overall religious agenda, and a left that is beyond idealistic and at the same time more concerned with scoring points off the right, we american people will never know who tro trust. |
