It's sad that immaturity could ruin this because proper discipline can't be established.

Children need guidance in everything, laptops and online activities is included. The schools need to restrict access and track activities and hold the user responsible for their actions. Those that don't abuse the priveledge should be permitted continued use.

I'm sorry for those few that would use the technology to advance their education.
Someday those that abuse the priveledge will realize what they messed up.

Ok but are they tracking the use? There are programs to police and record keystrokes. They need to hold the kids responsible for their actions.
