Face it, its the worshiping of empty uniforms that the right likes. If you acknowledge that then that is it. It is done. That is what it was about. Who on earth is ANYONE to say what he was referring to, while the phrase had already been thrown out into the current 'discussion' by C.Gibson on a secdtion titled phony soldiers. You guys propped them up and when they proved FAKE you can't stand it and have to tranfer your anger back on the first 'target' availabe. I think it is despicable and demonstrates FILTHY character.

So the number of listeners is a guarantee of his veracity? By that logic, the pope probably is infallible since he has over a billion people behind him. Note that even twenty-some million is less than two percent of the population.

I, a nobody at a keyboard, can confidently state that Rush Limbaugh is manipulative and more interested in being perceived as right than in the truth. I state this, not because of malice, but based on his actions which are on the record. I...

I, a nobody at a keyboard, can confidently state that Rush Limbaugh is manipulative and more interested in being perceived as right than in the truth. I state this, not because of malice, but based on his actions which are on the record. It is purely a personal judgement for me to say that I believe that he is not sincere about much of what he says, but, rather, is a slave to his ratings and paycheck (a supposition I could not prove without being telepathic, which is why I leave it as an opinion). If you want to consider that hateful, so be it.
