Sad. Who ever said "there is truth in advertising?" Either way, it will satisfy your sweet-tooth. Not mine. I like real chocolate http://www.amedei.com/jspamedei/index.jsp?lang=en Don't settle for less than the best. Looks like snooty chocolate to me. I give two hoots about Tuscany and foil wrappers. I'm very happy with local favorite Quality Candy. All I can say in mt defense is that chocolate really isn't my favourite treat. You are all, of course, poor deluded fools; British chocolate is far superior in taste and texture (the Belgians make a fine chocolate but one can't eat caviar every day). When I first visited the States I was eager to try some treats that I had, up until then, only seen advertised in American comics. The first bite I took out of a Hershey's bar had me stumbling for the trash bin to spit it out: it tasted like vomit! My GF thought I was mad and happily munched it all down. I tried it again - weeks later with the same result. It's filthy and I wouldn't even give it away to Gypsy children. If you can get hold of it (there are one or two places) over here I heartily recommend Cadbury's Fruit... I had an English guest a while back who went bonkers (her word) over the Quality Candy she had here. Each to their own, I guess; it's probably just as well I don't get on too well with the chocolate, over here. I am starting to feel middle-age hanging over my belt these days. I do like "Payday"s and the ice-cream is pretty damn good. |
