I am sorry you are so offended by the clip. However it was not done as an act of "hatred, intolerance, vengeance and venom" (in fact I would be very surprised if you can find anywhere near as many clips that meet those descriptions from atheist clippers as there are from people with religious views). There have been many clips with much more explicit sexual content than this one - what exactly is it that you find so disgusting? I clipped a site that was reporting about a group that has started a religion that you find disgusting. I'm an atheist as you know - it is not my religion but it's there, these people have as much right to worship what they want as anyone else - don't they...

I'm an atheist as you know - it is not my religion but it's there, these people have as much right to worship what they want as anyone else - don't they? It seems odd and disgusting to you, but so do very many religious practices to me - where is the hatred? I clipped it to poke fun at yet another silly religion - was I wrong to poke fun at it? If you are saying religion should not be criticised and mocked then I am afraid I cannot agree.

If ever there was a time when I felt I experienced true spirituality it wasn't in a church, it was the first time I experienced a genuine whole body orgasm; it was transcendental. While of a wholly different dimension, listening to 'Trane is the closest I can come to that non-sexually. To worship an act of experience rather than an interpreted tale seems far more rational.

I am not intolerant of anyone's beliefs (if they do no harm). As far as I'm concerned people should be free to believe any nonsense they like, and I am free to mock them (kinda the point of the clip really). What I AM intolerant of is what people do in the name of their imaginary friend in the sky or because their particular book of bronze aged myths tells them to. I am intolerant of: people trying to teach fantasy as fact in schools, people flying planes into skyscrapers, children dying because parents withhold life saving treatments, children dying while being "exorcised", people making laws about who can openly love who based on a fairy tale, children being indoctrinated to despise others just because of their "viewpoints", picketing funerals, tax-exemption for institutions that engage in these loathsome practices, etc, etc. Do I need to go on.
