Anyone reading the Facebook pages of some young people in my circle (who answer multiple quizzes a week involving copious amounts of fairly intimate life details) would have little difficulty assembling a psychological profile of these youngsters.

This could, in turn, be used by individuals will ill-intent - whether to guess their banking passwords, to lure them somewhere, or to scam them.

One of these young people broadcasts all this stuff to 800+ Facebook "friends". These aren't actual friends, of course, but mere acquaintances.

A rule of thumb in the social work community is that as many as 1 in 10 people may be "deviant" in some manner. When, as a matter of course, you share significant amounts of intimate info with a pool of 800, in my view that's a little scary.
