righthand, last time I checked, christians weren't looking to hitch a ride on comet Hale-Bop, or throwing Sarin gas in the subway systems, or drinking poisoned Flavor Aid for communion, or promoting the music career of Charles Manson.

If christians are crazy in origin, it would be for reasons of their belief and actions concerning 'Christ', not because of the indian mystic who deliberately poisoned people with salmonella..

The only basic difference between a religion and a cult is the number of members. Pretty much all current religions were considered cults at one point. And people somehow still buy into it. Mormons pulled it off in the last 150 years (magic golden plates only Smith could read, COME ON!) and now these scientology retards are doing it too (if you haven't seen the video of Tom Cruise ranting like a drugged up lunatic you gotta look it up its freaking hilarious). When will people realize that the only reason people start religions is to control other people.
