Those were just from my nation alanocu. I created a "region" for Clipmarks' users, where all the Clippers have their own little nations.

Ahh of course... the old Clip-PER (Proton Eruption Reverberator)

Hey I'm being asked to login when I go to the source -- is there some kind of public URL or a login we can all use?

Create your own nation at http://www.nationstates.net/

Then on the left side you'll the "region" you're in (Something like West Pacific). Click on it and you'll come across page saying something like "Don't like life here, move to a new region or something"

Search for Clipmarks.

Actually after creating the nation, just go here http://www.nationstates.net/44522/page=display_region and choose to move your nation there.

Genius sohil. I don't begin to comprehend how you did it but you've turned your nation into "states" so to speak. my partner has a nation "Kapoa" for some time.
Kudos to you-that deserves a pop

sidegik
i created the Republic of sidegik but i wanted Sidegik Republic.
When ask to check name...

"Checking "Sidegik"... OK! Name is unique."

The Republic of Sidegik is a tiny, devout nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct. The small, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6%. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Cheese Exports industry. Crime is a p...

The Free Land of Laceym is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its burgeoning lolcat population. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 28%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small private sector is dominated by the Woodchip Exports industry.

Crime is relatively low. Laceym's national animal is the lolcat and its currency is the darwin.

Yeah, cool site. It was originally a promotion tool for the book "Jennifer Government." Lots of fun, but as I recall they start recycling the questions they give you after a while...

Deepti
The Queendom of Deepti is a tiny, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 30%. A substantial private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Soda Sales and Pizza Delivery.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and prog...

The Rogue Nation of Ouyangwulong is a tiny, safe nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, liberal, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Social Welfare, with areas such as Law & Order and Defence receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 67%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private se...

Djiezes
The Colony of DjiezesKraaijst is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, corrupt, socially-minded government is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 34%, but much higher for the wealthy. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Trout Farming...

I remember there was the saying "blessed are the Cheese makers" John Cleese. Never worked out why.
What I also remembered are the Foundation novels by Isaac Asimov, Where there was a Galactic Empire that was crumbling through neglect, distance, corruption, and complacency, (the usual things that cause a bloated empire to dissolve.) They established two colonies on either side of the galaxy, each with a complete record of the history and accomplishments of humanity. When the Empire lost it's cohesion, the two Foundations at the extremes would expand and combine in the center, amalgamating any developments that evolved during their mutual isolation. All of the time empires are turning up cl...

Realized how old the clip was, after the first comment, but it was one of my pet subjects. I then thought, time is an illusion.(Unless you have an appointment.) The idea is great that concrete examples are being created of how people in general, can be far more capable of running their lives, and their social behavior, more, honorably than those who pretend to be leaders.A Politician's aim can can be to maintain a political standing and an illusion of their own self importance. After being elected the opinion of the people is obviously irrelevant. The more input we get, the more alternatives, the more creative solutions, will increase our ability to develop into a society where there i...

@pokkets,
I really enjoy your thoughtful comments. I believe through the internet & sites such as Clipmarks we are already in the midst of creating a new world nation. If we conduct ourselves thinking of others in the process with a willingness to work out the differences in my opinion that is a leader.

Bumping this up! The Empire of Haraya has just joined the region of Clipmarks. I see that there are only eight countries there (excluding my empire). Aren't there others?
