amgumen says:
The Murdoch diktat: Rupert Murdoch, who owns or controls much of the world’s media of communication, issued an edict to all his editors in the early summer of 2007 to the effect that they were in future to reflect his opinion that “global warming” was the worst threat faced by humankind. Murdoch cited the long drought in Australia as evidence for “global warming” – an instance of the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. Within two weeks of the Murdoch diktat, much of Australia had been inundated by unprecedented floods.

Given the proven unpredictability of the climate, anyone who says, “The Debate Is Over” is merely displaying scientific ignorance of a long-established result in elementary chaos theory as applied to the climate.

The examples sited may be anomalies.. (Though snow in the UK may coincide with a commensurate lack of warm to cold water circulation in the Atlantic predicted by Global Warming) In any case, the media is famous for using anecdotal evidence to either dispute or validate claims. Look at the preponderance of evidence for atmospheric CO2 buildup in empirical data. Don't count on the media to bring you your facts.

I certainly do not. They wouldn't know a fact if it pulled their britches down. Trust the science not politicians and journalists. The science does not support anthropogenic global warming at this time. In fact, I think it never will because I find it absurd.

I have been looking at for many years to discover that the climate has nothing to do with the CO2 buildup, annual amount of which is only about three per cent of the natural CO2 flux that. But entire CO2 amount makes up only 0.0025 per cent of all gases in the atmosphere.
So:
