Shaor the article does say that the poisoning might have been accidental through insecticides used on the palm oil trees. It still highlights the ongoing battle between humans (who want to use the land) and animals (who require land for habitat).

It is certainly a sad story.

don't care! I prefer animals to humans as humans are so darn cruel even to thier own kind. I worked on safari in africa for 4 years, and saw some horrors thanks to the poachers! i will never to this day buy ivory
