They are paying a mortgage in a place where tanks systematically are tearing down buildings - THAT is their excuse to stay? Insane.

Where would they go?
Are they citizens of any land?
Who else wants them?

I won't pretend to have the answers to what those people need to do. I just find it surreal that they would continue to pay a mortgage in that situation and look forward to the day when they could actually own their home while everything around them is bullet ridden, being torn down because it might provide cover for snipers, or being in a group of more than a few people attracts the attention of a tank that swoops in to disperse them.

The mortgage is the only reason that they stay. They did not say "we have no other place to go". They said that "it is because of their mortgage" that they stay. Again, I say that is insane.

Your questions are more than reasonable in normal circumstances, but you are dealing with the most unreasonable regime in the world since the demise of Pol Pot. You do know that the Occupied Areas and yGaza are the most densely populated places in the world. Without the hovel, who are you. Stateless already so homeless might not appear a lot. But to claim I am responsible is insulting. Your imply that it is American interference that has caused the situation with the Palestinians. Perhaps it has, I do not know. I am not fluent on the history or politics in that region. But it is nothing that I have caused or supported. In fact I strongly disagree with many policies of this government and many government policies of past administrations.

I write my political leaders. I take part in elections. I advocate those that I feel will support and preserve the ideals and policies that I agree with. I think with my mind, not by emotion, and I require evidence and proof to aid me in my d...

Yet another 'feeler' to see who is 'awake'. Sadness prevails that just a few families justify these atrocities.
In EVERY continent there are enough pure soles deserving salvation. Can we, as a people, design a corridor for sanctity for sanity?
If using gasoline was proven to cause death amongst the masses, would you quit using it? Well, it's going to be the cause of something just as bad.
Let's work this please, let the oil moguls drown in their own soup.
