He was called Barry as a nickname in his youth, but choose to use his legal name, Barack, later on. Children in foreign countries are generally registered under the father's (in this case, stepfather's) surname, as well as the father's religion, whether or not the child is being raised in that faith. Try again. I haven't been on the bandwagon on this story ( mainly because it is driven by Hillary Clinton supporters) and I have been highly skeptical that this was anything more than just political hogwash, but there is a lot coming to the surface here and it keeps getting deeper for Obama. What his campaign released as his COLB from Hawaii is a proven forgery. I'm in the middle on this one but Obama sure is not doing all he can do to quiet the criticism. And I'm not "trying" to do anything other than clip, which has been frustratingly difficult lately. CM seems to be having some sluggishness. I haven't seen any proof that the COLB is a forgery. Sorry if I sounded snippy; just got off another forum with the same old Obama chain Email arguments and I was feeling irritated. I have noticed some glitches on CM lately, so I uninstalled it and dl'd it again. Usually, in the past when I'd had problems, I'd download a CM over the current one and it seemed to resolve the problem. This is not really a great mystery. It was 1967 Indonesia... it was not part of their culture to have mixed religious marriages, divorces, etc. Would you sit there and try to explain all of this to the school that you're trying to get your child into, or would you just do what they did? I've worked in SE Asia, and I know I would have done what they did. As for the rest of the "trail" of lies, well: First, Obama was accused of not having a birth certificate. He produced one and posted it on the Internet. Then, the Anti-Obama people began to spread a rumor that his "certificate of live birth" is not the same as a birth certificate. All you have to do is check with the Hawaii state govern... The really ironic thing about all this is, if he really had been some kind of undercover Muslim fundamentalist, pursuing policies consistent with Islam (anti-homosexual, anti-abortion, anti-pornography) the Conservatives would love him! |
