All I had to do with XP Home was right-click on the Recycle Bin, hit Properties, and under the Global tab select "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted." Does seem easier... i'll pass along to the PC-loving hubby... thanks! you can also just hold shift whenever deleting a file/folder. this will also bypass the recycle bin. ooh some of these are new to me - thanks sohil. great clip, very useful! this is excellent. i was having trouble with my desktop (it doesn't recognise my keyboard for some reason)....and i just discovered that win xp has an integrated "on-screen keyboard". SCORE!!! (In case anyone else needs it: start-->run, then type osk). I think that's just made my day. (sad, i know). No problem guys...and thanks for the additional tips Thanks, sohil. We need all the help we can get. I'll add one to that list- it's 99999999999 times better than Vista, that's for sure! I'll add another it's 99999999999 worse than Ubuntu, that's for sure!
