Oh my goodness, couldn't that comet be interpreted as being blue? I seem to recall having heard or read some myths and legends regarding when the "blue star" appears and that it should be a signal for the end of days. I know that sounds far out, but I think it was the Hopi Indians who have a myth something like that...
