How many Iraqi civilians died each month under Saddam Hussein? I read it was 5,000 every month. Wish I could find source to check that.

60 000 every year? Sounds over rated. That would be something three times as much as now. If you read Wikipedia you notice it was some thousands during the 24 years Hussein was in charge, not thousands every month. Numbers like that may come from recent wars in that area but more likely you've heard some propaganda.

..not saying Hussein was the good guy though.
