Major fail in 2 areas: the FDA has little credibility in its approval process, and the federal gov't has refused to test marijuana. Commentators give this man a lashing, and rightly so.

I know many people who smoked, and none of them ever became addicted nor did they go on to anything harder. Of course that doesn't mean that there were people I didn't know who did become hooked or move on to other stuff. I smoked dope for a while, but when I found out I had athsma, I wuit cold turkey with no problem - something my parents couldn't manage with their tobacco.

The flip side of this is that pot is , literally, a weed, and can be grown by anyone almost anywhere. That meand that neither Pharma nor Big TObacco can control it.

The brainwashing continues. Now, the commercials say: If you buy a joint, you contribute to murders and gang wars. The latest anti-hemp commercials say: If you buy a joint...you are promoting TERRORISM! The new enemy (terrorism) has paved the road to brainwash you any way THEY see fit.

There is only one enemy; the friendly people you pay your taxes to; the war-ma...
