Just imagine if aliens exist!! Abductions, secret flights, missing time, men in black, being probed and tortured and terrorised by alien foreign invaders!! Hmm.... I don't think we should fear UFO's. If aliens exist, I'm pretty sure they're just trying to liberate us and bring us some freedom and democracy.

Optical Illusion?

Claims of alien abduction have been researched and there is plenty of evidence suggesting that it happens.

We should stop abducting aliens, then maybe they will go away.

Don't worry, bignosemousie! I've already got that covered. They'll never get me.

Anyway, joking aside. I am getting more and more sceptical of the "mass hallucination" theory and weather balloons and what-have-you's. Something's going on. I'd really like to know it is. People are seeing and experiencing something. They sure don't ALL sound like clouds or "reflections".

Buzz Aldrin reminisced about the days of the Apollo 11 Moon Mission and said, "Suppose Neal and I said, 'Look at what's outside of our window! It's a UFO!' Instead, we said, 'It's unusual to see a booster rocket outside of our...

On a side note, I was thinking... "Governments" say UFO's don't exist. What if they aren't lying? They love word games, so maybe it's because they HAVE identified them.. Just a theory. *LOL*

I've seen lights in the sky doing weird things. going straight up, then 90 degree turns at high speed, quite a few times, at a place my father and I used to camp in the mountains north of Sydney. They looked like car headlights at a distance. We got used to them after a while. I never thought they were aliens, but I don't have a clue as to what they really were.

It's kind of scary the size of the thing though, huh? In the "old days", UFO's were one or three cute little saucers, now they're often described as football-field sized black triangles floating around. Haha! That doesn't sound like an unmanned probe, if it IS a spaceship. It sounds like a whole space station! I think I would freak OUT if I saw one that big. Run away, run away!! *LOL*

I saw lights on the west oast yk2yoc. Up by Carnavon. I know what satellites look like, seen tons, but it wasn't a shooting star and it wasn't a satellite. It changed speed and direction too. Just a light though.I can't be sure.

TN I am sure there are a lot of things going on on that we as the general public does not know about. I have seen strange things in the sky late at night; but as far as the mile wide thing over Texas that is just GW's ego.LOL

Why would ETs be the same size as us?
Why would ETs be interested in us?
Why would ETs try to hide from us?

Would you send your FTL ship into a planets gravitational well?

Why would ETs think like us?

Instead of ET think TimeTravellers from a Future Earth.
That would explain more about this behaviour

If they are from another world, it doesn't make them any more peaceful than we are.
There have been so many technological leaps in the years following Roswell, it gives one cause to ponder.
Ponder this also - why do the wealthy elite seem so unconcerned about climate changes? Perhaps they have "other world" homes to go to.
The Truth is out there.

As I posted in wiccantexan's clip on this story:

It is to laugh. Anything that isn't from "these here parts" is a sign of the end of the world. Too bad someone didn't say that about a certain family that moved to Texas from New England back in '48.

Exactly the same thing happened to me in Montreal around 1967 . Broad daylight 90 degree turns about 25000 feet.

This is a good site for evidence. The US Government began a security department known as Majestic 12
in 1948, which was to research and document details regarding extraterrestrial encounters. They have access to technology that is way beyond us, but there is more that we cannot bend our minds around.
They are not a secret by virtue of the Government security. Aliens have been known to refer to terrestrial genetic material as 'Software' and they need to keep a low profile to keep their source as pristine as possible. Earth is the Galactic equivalent of an unspoiled wilderness.

The White House probably invited them to take everybody's mind off the war, and the election, and the environment, and the budget, and religion.
Be interesting to see what the Aliens had to say about world politics and society in general.
It's remarkable how many extraterrestrials are Hominids.

ok, just typing my thoughts aloud here, so don't bite my head off...

E.T.'s resembling Hominids?...As most biological / evolutionary scientists would agree, it would seem that humans and apes are among the most "intelligent" animals on the planet. The only reason apes can't integrate into any environment as well as us is because of the food types they require, limiting the habitats they can survive in.

Our physical type seems best to adapting to new habitats (other than insects), and is 'better' than apes, in which case Hominid would maybe be the most likely physical shape. Just a thought. I'm more curious about why they all have such big heads!

On another note, has anyone heard this l...

Why would a being that evolved on a different planet, moon, asteroid or nebula 'think' the way we do?
Space is so vast that it could be possible but extremely unlikely.
What would make us think that such beings had independent will and are not acting upon an instinct that we could never fathom.
If aliens exist that can travel FTL safely, It would be a good guess to say that there must be a region of space somewhere that is populated and dense with life. That dense population of life and the emmissions of its technology would be a spotlight to their location. The expansion of their civilization would be a radiant or a lopsided radiant out from their origin. As they expand they would leave a...

If a true alien were standing in front of you what makes you think you would recognize it? There are animals and plants on the planet that are difficult to recognize as life and they share our planet with us. Why would they develop bi-lateral symmentry? Our planet's size is small compared to what we have so far detected but even if the being evolved on a similar sized planet or moon, would the composition be the same? Ok, squashed or elongated why would they have two arms, legs, eyes, ears, front facing eyes, etc.? Do you think an alien would recognize love, hate, compassion?
Aside from that, would they be curious? Curiosity drive the human to ask 'what if'. Would they ask or could they meer...

The typical alien has a big head, big eyes, little mouth and little if any ear holes. They have a neck, shoulders, torso, legs, arms, hands and feet.
There are two appendages and they have these things in the same places as we do.
They are reported as abducting us for tracking, sampling, breeding and removing. They are reported as communicating, building ships, needing lights on their ships, using electricity, breathing our air and occassionally having an accident. They leave a corpse when they die and they die. What if our planet had been struck by a dinosaur killer comet in our future and mankind survives? The light would be blocked, temperatures would drop, the gene pool would be bottlene...

I am getting more and more sceptical of the "mass hallucination" theory and weather balloons and what-have-you's.
No doubt, though I can't claim to ever fallen for that. Hallucinations, sure, mass hallucinations? No way in hell. Being one who has hallucinated on numerous occasions, and sometimes with numerous other people, I find ridiculous the claims of mass hallucinations.

1.) When hallucinating, people see different things, and usually there's not just one thing being seen that's not really there, there's multiple things like that.

2.) It's rare for people to see the same thing, particularly so a thing described in the same way, seeing such similarities tends towards re...

The general public are seeing things that can not be identified. Maybe the government knows and is keeping us in the dark. Granted there are some loonies out there; but to many sightings that are unexplained by sane respectable people. On a funny note, my Dad and my wife were sitting out in the yard drinking coffee one evening after a very late dinner, I was doing the dishes, my wife came running into the house and said you have to see this. I went outside and there was this huge thing in the sky barely above treetop level, with blinking lights, and not making a sound, scarey. The next day there was over 200 hundred sightings in the newspaper. Turned out to be the Goodyear blimp that was fl...

We've all seen mirages along a hot road surface in mid-Summer. The same thing can happen in the atmosphere, only in reverse. If there's a cold layer of air along the ground and a layer of significantly warmer air above, it can act as a mirror and reflect the lights of a town, etc. even if you cannot see that town. Then, if that air mass moves or tilts, it can make those reflected lights appear to be zooming at break-neck speed.
