Eaglewings says:
No matter what the sin is we are all responsible for our actions before God. To say the devil made me do it of I can't help myself does not negate our responsibility before God to live righteously in an unrighteous world. How then are we to live? What is required of each of us?

It would appear in our society where the victim mentality runs rampant we have a tendency to dismiss all our foibles and fallacies on forces beyond our control. It is true that there are forces at work in our lives we may not be aware of but that does not excuse us when we behave badly.

Accepting the fact that we are LOST without hope without a savior is the first step in living rightly in an mixed-up world.

Turn towards Christ and away from sin and you shall live.

My gay friends believe they were born that way. They didn't make a conscious decision one day - "Hey, I think I'd like to be a pervert and lose my entire family over it, then spend eternity in hell!"

Why would God make them gay, then tell them not to be gay?

Homosexuality is a sin against God's design. Some are dominated by that sin-trend. Some are dominated by others....lust, stealing, pride, greed, self-pity, lying, etc.... None of us are *excused* for our sins. All are condemned because our sinful practices are contrary to the design of our Creator. Homosexuality, like adulatory, effect the human/family structure and create devastating results in society and home-life...the very foundation of national stability. Homosexuality is well-documented by the scientific community. It's prominent in nature, not "unnatural." Biologically, it makes sense to have a certain percentage this way to control overpopulation. It's mankind who's put a moral spin on God's design, IMHO.
