Er... why would you wish people would use these words more?
I very seldom defenestrate anything, I don't shanghai people; that it has been a pluvial summer isn't discussed much, neither is anything volacious or oneiric, and calling people iniquitous... that's just a fancy name calling. I don't speak of gluttony either so why would I speak of cloying?
I can understand the interest of keeping the wonderfully rich English language alive, but... your choice of words is perhaps not the most beneficial to that goal...
