I find this Republican thug behavior very worrisome, though. They did it in 2000 to help steal the elections by shutting down the Florida vote count... leading to a very cynical, pro-Republican Supreme Court decision 5-4 that gave the election to George Bush.

And consider the consequences of that. It was an act of fascism that led our nation down a road of growing fascism -- so this is a real threat with high stakes.

Fascism is deeply ingrained into American politics even to the point where fascist symbols are openly displayed in congress.
