How are Democrats like Nazis? I don’t quite care for either of them.

I don't like the Nazi comparisons to Obama the same way I didn't like the Hitler comparisons to Bush. I think it's inappropriate. The Hitler and Nazi comparisons are only appropriate when made by liberals. We understand that.

Blatant hypocrisy, perpetuating left-wing spin through empty-sloganeering and mindless repetition of Democratic talking points crafted by the likes of Al Franken, Michael Moore and George Soros has always been a liberal strategy, a failed one, but consistent.

Maybe if the tea party protesters took off their shoes and threw them at Obama and the Democrats, liberals would be okay with that? Th...

"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." --Adolf Hitler
(Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306)

So tell me, based on that quote from Hitler, does he sound more left leaning or does he sound like a conservative who believes we should sit back and let the market forces fan us while feeding us grapes.

Obama is politically closer to the Nazi parties political ...

Obama is not a Nazi. Obama is a fascist.

If it weren't so pathetic, it would be funny to watch how conservatives accuse Obama of being both a socialist and a fascist, apparently too stupid to know that the two philosophies are diametrically opposed.

Maybe Bush is sometimes compared to the Nazis because his administration went to war based on a lie which caused the deaths of 100,000s of thousands of innocent Iraqi and Afghani civilians, not to mention thousands of dead and maimed soldiers. Obama is trying to introduce a more equitable health care system so that people who can't afford health care don't have to die. What happens? The Christian fundamentalists come crawling out of the woodwork in droves waving thei...

n2sooners...people do tend to get a bit upset when their government is about to wage war on innocent people and there's nothing they can do. Funny that.

n2sooners... The insurance company bandits are the ones robbing US citizens blind. This issue has everything to do with the bottom lines and profit margins of insurance companies and their investors vs the rights of citizens to a decent health care system. Robbery is when the government bails out private industry to the tune of billions of taxpayer dollars. These people are the lackeys of big business...billionaire businessmen who pay right wing journalists good money to incite people like them to demonstrate against their own interests. The sad things is most of these people don't even realise where their interests lay. They're being led around by the nose, just as they were when Bush lie...

This article on Reuters shows why vested interests are working so hard to derail the health care plan and how big business drives social policy:

And trial lawyers are all working pro-bono? And PhRMA isn't making a dime or making deals with this administration? And insurance competition isn't stifled by government regulations such as the one preventing me and you from purchasing insurance across state lines? If there is any unfairness in the insurance industry, it is brought to us by the US government.

And one other thing, why do people who have no problem using sexual references to smear those who oppose them get their panties in such a wad when someone calls out their supreme leader when he tells a lie?

n2sooners..Your comment about trial lawyers etc is typical of the obsfucation technique used by right wingers who want to deflect attention from the real issues.

Basically, you believe that the USA should not join other nations in providing a fairer health care system and, by definition, that it's ok if people die because they can't afford medical help. If that rests easy on your conscience then so be it. Luckily there are many people in the US with more progressive views. However, it's probably not a good idea to keep drawing attention to a congressman whose opinions are paid for by lobby groups which represent vested interests and who supported the illegal war on Iraq.

Kind of like someone who is idiotic enough to ignore the thousands of photos of the event and use just a few that might be seen as embarrasing, call all those who attended rednecks, and just be plain idiotic enough to not have a clue what you are talking about, but continue blathering without the slightest bit of self-awareness of just how silly you look.

Direct personal attack..another typical tactic of right wingers. Never mind. I don't expect you will be attacking n2sooners for his link to a site which had to collect pictures from many different sites and demos to make a point ..as opposed to the images above which were taken by one person from one demo. Seriously? Your clip title calls those who you oppose politically ball lickers and rednecks and you have the gall to say that is a typical tactic of right wingers?

n2sooners...the definition of a redneck is Redneck "a person who is stereotypically Caucasian and of lower socio-economic status in the United States and Canada". If none of the people at the demo fit that description I stand corrected.

If first line meds don't work, Clozapine usually works in the treatment resistant. As long as WBC's are closely monitored.

Is it part of the left conspiracy that there are only whites portrayed in all the pictures and videos? Except the one speaker of course.

By some quirk of fate I was in DC on my way to the Botanic Gardens when I came across this protest. I saw very few (under a dozen) people of color, and most of the ones I did see were Indian. Witnessing the event made me heartsick--all the smug, self-righteous 'patriots' touting messages of hate and ignorance. It was obviously dangerous to speak out against them; I felt like a civil rights worker who had stumbled into a KKK rally and could only watch in horror and disgust. I took a lot of photos of the crowd and of particular individuals and signs in order to document the swaggering zeal displayed by the participants. Their facial expressions are as telling as the signs, buttons and costumes...
