Take it from me (ex military Intelligence Computer and electronics specialist DS) - common back doors are left open for one primary reason. To catch hackers who think they are smart. They will let it go for a while until you do enough stuff to take you down for a long time. They love it when you get a big head about this stuff. I know I loved it. Keep up the stupid work. You're doing us all a huge favor.
