bignosemousie says: Peter Hanson, a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175 called his father. "I think they intend to go to Chicago or someplace and fly into a building," he said. "Don't worry, Dad - if it happens, it will be very fast." On the same flight, Brian Sweeney called his wife, got the answering machine, and told her they'd been hijacked. "Hopefully I'll talk to you again, but if not, have a good life. I know I'll see you again some day." There was Tom Burnett's famous call from United Flight 93. "We're all going to die, but three of us are going to do something," he told his wife, Deena. "I love you, honey." I am sure there are many more "voices from the grave" I feel so sad for these families. Wrenching still. Willhelm, on the website from which I clipped this there is an audio recording of a little girl talking to her father who died. It had me sobbing. mousie, I tried in vane to find that recording, but am not so great at the computer as most of you. I would like to find out if there is a site that has some of those recordings as I think those victims last messages should be heard even after so long, god bless them and their families! There is no way I can bring myself to listen to that, mousie. The clip is too much for me. Shaor, it should be playing automatically on the site (if your sound is turned on) However, you can find it directly under the pictures of people that died. Under the text: Currently Playing: The 9/11 Remix of "Heaven" ty, I found it. A really good clip and memorial on this day to the victims! You are welcome, shaor. |
